From Less Than R25 A Day

When trying to decide whether I'm going to sign up for a new service or account, there are usually two questions I ask myself:

  1. Once I've made the commitment, how easy is it to get out of it?
  2. What am I really getting for what I'm paying?

When it comes to a DeeTwenty Full Membership, the first question is easily answered: "It's really easy". We don't require a commitment of any kind, and you can change your membership every month. You pay one month at a time. If you change your mind, leave town, go on a long business trip, get bitten by a zombie or whatever, you stop paying. Easy.

It's that easy

It's that easy

The second question is a little harder to answer, but being geeks, it's the complexity we enjoy. So I'm sure you guys will like this:  The answer is "It depends."

The biggest thing it depends on is how often you plan to use the club. If you're coming in once a month for your group's regular meeting, a Full Membership isn't for you. A Day Pass will cover you.

If you're coming in once a week for your knitting circle, an Affiliate Membership should do the trick.

But if you're like me and you have role-playing on Monday, debating club on Wednesday, card gaming on Friday and table-top miniatures on Saturday, not only are you the right sort of person for a Full Membership, but you're actually scoring.

I'm sure you've heard of the concept of "economies of scale", and that's what we're talking about here. If you're using the club and all its features (including the bottomless coffee and WiFi) just three days a week, your R290 per month works out to just under R25 per day.

That's right - all the coffee you can drink and all the Wi's you can Fi for R25. And that's before you've even started playing your favourite game, hanging out with fellow geeks or whatever it is you like to do at the club.

Where else can you go to get all that for R25? Nowhere, that's where.

nowhere[1].jpg

But if you'd rather hang out at DeeTwenty than nowhere, then you owe it to yourself to do the maths. Figure out which membership option suits you best, and remember that you can change it whenever you want.

If you're a big-time geek like me, less than R25 a day is a pretty sweet deal for all that awesome.

It's never too early to get signed up. If you're keen, head over to the Membership page and fill in the form. we'll get back to you to help guide you through the process.
